Roads

Seiya’s holistic approach began with the road network within the Mara Triangle.  Good all weather standard roads are essential for a thriving tourism sector as well as a fundamental necessity for the security of wildlife, quick deployment of security personnel to all areas of the Conservancy is critical.  To achieve the necessary standards, a review of the existing road network was conducted and a plan to improve the roads was put into action.

The next phase was to add additional routes to the existing network.  To maintain the road network, Mara Conservancy has trained and developed a core team of skilled artisans, mechanics and drivers capable of keeping the entire network of roads and tracks at the level required. Investment has been made in the equipment required and regular programmes are initiated to ensure there is no deterioration in standards.

These skills initially developed in the Mara Triangle are now shared across all Seiya managed conservancies. 

Buildings

Building and other maintenance projects are managed by Seiya on behalf of the conservancies.  Seiya have a skilled team who work diligently to maintain all of the infrastructure within the conservancies.
